Lingli Data API quick start

Prepare your Lingli Data API integration: confirm APIs and costs, configure X-API-Key on your server, build a Python request, then check business outcomes, errors and pagination. Confirm the current specification and charges before running the example.

Start your first integration by checking the API and its costs. Prepare your server environment, then configure the key and request parameters using the current documentation.

Check these three items first

  1. Read costs and usage conditions to confirm the permitted scope of this validation.
  2. Follow the key and authentication instructions to prepare your server configuration.
  3. Use the API integration checklist to record response handling, failure recovery and acceptance results.

If you are evaluating Facebook post search, read its public documentation alongside the example below. Other APIs require their own documentation; do not simply change the request URL and reuse these parameters.

Create an account and choose an API

Go to the login and registration page and complete the required registration and identity verification. Choose an API suited to your business in the marketplace, then check its method, parameters, response documentation, billing conditions and request limits.

Record what this integration should validate, such as whether a specified topic returns the documented fields. Do not treat an API name or marketing description as a complete specification.

Prepare the API key on your server

Create a key in the console and store it in the server-side LINGLI_API_KEY environment variable. Keep its real value out of source code, public configuration, browser scripts and screenshots.

The Python request below uses the website’s public example. Before running it, install requests, configure your own environment variable, and check the API’s current status and cost. The example illustrates request structure; running it makes a real request, so confirm charges first.

import os
import requests

response = requests.get(
    "https://api.linglis.com/api/facebook/search/posts",
    headers={"X-API-Key": os.environ["LINGLI_API_KEY"]},
    params={"query": "technology"},
    timeout=30,
)
response.raise_for_status()
data = response.json()

Validate responses before business integration

HTTP success means only that a request received a normal HTTP response. Check the business outcome against the documentation. Confirm field meanings, empty-result handling and permitted data use before implementing business logic.

To retrieve more results, first check whether pagination is available, how to request the next page and when to stop. The example does not show pagination; do not assume page, offset or cursor parameters exist.

When a request fails

First check the request URL, method, required parameters and key configuration, then review availability, pricing conditions and documentation in the console. Sanitize failure logs. Automatic retries must account for charges and duplicate requests; do not blindly retry every failure.

How to confirm your first integration is ready

Record the documentation date, selected API, key storage location, expected business outcome and failure-handling approach. If you have made an authorized real request, retain its sanitized result; otherwise state ‘not yet verified’. This page provides no sample response, so it cannot establish success indicators, data fields or pagination tokens.

Next, review the current API details in the console and perform your own validation under the confirmed conditions. Running the example sends real network requests; the documentation checks on this page have not made paid requests on your behalf.
